This privacy policy explains what Southern Maine Siding collects through this website, which is mostly what people type into our estimate quiz and contact form. Those answers go to our customer-management system so our team can follow up, look at your walls and put a siding price in writing.

Who We Are
Southern Maine Siding installs and repairs siding on existing homes in Cumberland and York counties, Maine, from Kittery up to Brunswick. Our office is in Westbrook, and our website is www.southernmainesiding.com.
Information We Collect
Our estimate quiz and our contact form ask a few short questions, and we keep the answers you enter.
- Contact details: your full name, phone number and email address.
- Project details: the town your house is in, the siding work you have in mind, the budget you set on the slider and any notes you add.
- Consent and form details: whether you ticked the consent box, which page held the form and when you sent it.
When we talk with you by phone or come out to look at your walls, our notes join the same file. If you hire us, the written price, the signed contract and each invoice are added as well.
The company that hosts this website keeps a short technical record of every page request, as web hosts generally do. That record holds routine details such as your IP address, your browser type and the page you opened.
How We Use Your Information
We use what you send us for three purposes and no others:
- answering your request and booking a time to see the house
- pricing the siding work in writing and, if you hire us, doing that work and billing for it
- contacting you about your project by the methods you agreed to on the form
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We also never use your details to market anything unrelated to your house.
Who Else Handles Your Information
A few business systems hold your details for us, and each one holds them only so we can serve you.

The consent covers calls and texts sent with automated technology, and giving it is not a condition of any purchase.

Phone Calls to Our Number
Calls to our number may be answered first by an AI receptionist, which tells you early in the call that it is an AI. The receptionist takes down your contact details and what you say about your siding, and a summary of the call is saved to your file in our customer-management system.
Cookies and Browser Storage
This website uses no analytics tools and sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only browser storage the site may use is the strictly necessary kind, such as holding your place in a form while you fill it in.
The map on our contact page comes from an outside map service, which may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Your browser settings let you block or clear cookies at any time.
How We Protect Your Information
Your details sit in our customer-management and phone systems, and only the people on our team who need them can reach them. No system connected to the internet is safe from every risk, so we cannot promise that a breach will never happen.
